Better Blokes is a national gathering of around 150 men. It is a life-changing and life-affirming experience where men are encouraged to get real with their mates, get real with God and get real with themselves. Men testify that they are equipped to be better blokes within their families, their churches and the wider community.
Our key speakers for BB 2012:
Peter Janetzki is a highly regarded counsellor and educator with a passion for relationships and personal development. He is a gifted teacher and speaker with decades of experience and is the host of ‘Talking Life’, a weekly talkback program on Brisbane’s 96five radio station. He is joint author of the new Aussie book 'Being A Bloke'. He is passionate about helping Aussie blokes discover what is a genuine Aussie bloke, why we need more of them, and how to become one.
Peter says his greatest achievement is his family. He is a passionate Brisbane Lions Supporter and a keen surf fisherman who loves quality coffee and good red wine.

Ian (Watto) Watson is an encourager and a heart man who loves to connect with Aussie blokes and to see them connect with each other. He is renowned for his monthly 'Shed Nights' at Murrumba Downs, and had 700 blokes turn up in October from around Australia for 'The Big Shed Happens', a great day of encouragement! He believes we find healing when we learn to be real by sharing our stories, and he is seeing men’s lives transformed around the nation. He loves God, his wife Margaret, his family and the Carlton Footy Club.
